Advocacy

The primary purpose of the Government Affairs Committee is to develop and implement strategies regarding legislative issues before the Colorado General Assembly that will impact the home building industry and private property rights. Voting members of this committee are appointed by CAHB’s Local Chapters and the full Board of Directors.

This committee also communicates with elected officials and policy makers regarding industry issues, formulate and advocate for needed changes and educate members of CAHB about current issues, new laws, regulatory and administrative matters.
